Konnichiwa!
I am a Tokyo-born creator and marketing&communication professional with a strong passion for art.

My creative skills flourished during my time studying abroad on the East Coast of the United States at the age of 13. Fascinated by the world of art, I began building the foundation as a creator throughout my time as a student. After completing my university studies in Tokyo, I began my professional career in marketing/communication at a creative agency where I acted as a liaison between clients and creatives/artists.
In 2016, I returned to the United States to attend Parsons School of Design in New York to further my studies in graphic design and contemporary art.

I now have over 10 years of experience in the design industry and recently expanded my skills to include front-end engineering. In addition to this, I have worked in the marcom division for 7 years and am currently a Senior Marketing and Communication Manager for a company in Japan, specialising in the European region.

I am a happy wife to my husband Jon, and dreaming of the day I will finally have my own doggo in my dream house.

I offer a full range of design services, including web design, logo design, menu design, product label design, and more.
My goal is to create designs that are easy to read and understand, yet eye-catching. I place great importance on having attention to detail and delivering my work in a timely manner. I work closely with my clients to depict the images and ideas that they have in their heads and turn them into something even better.

ILLUSTRATION

I started doing illustration work when some of my friends took an interest in the drawings I was doing as a hobby. I enjoy adding my own touch to designs through illustrations - whether it's for posters in shops, editorial illustrations for magazines and blogs, or just to bring some extra flair to websites, business cards, and product labels.
I hope I can bring a little something extra to your projects too.

At the age of 13, I moved to the US and grew up in an English-centred learning environment, spending time in both Japan and the US until graduate school. I have worked with clients and artists from Europe and the US for both Japanese and global companies.
As someone who's experienced different cultures firsthand, helping Japanese and foreigners understand each other on a cultural level and work together more smoothly has become one of my specialties.

MARKETING/COMMUNICATION
I have extensive experience working with a diverse range of clients, including global luxury fashion brands, hotel brands, art galleries, and museums in Europe, the US, and Japan.
I have taken on a variety of assignments to help foreign brands succeed in the Japanese market and vice versa.

FRONT-END ENGINEERING

I created this website entirely on my own, from the design and illustration to the coding of the original Wordpress theme. By doing everything myself, I was able to create a website that really focuses on design down to the smallest detail.

I also bring this same level of attention to detail to my client work. By working independently, I'm able to produce websites that are truly polished and it helps to keep costs down as well.
